Centenary of the awarding of the Nobel Prize (1906 - 2006)
The Royal Academy of Sciences, in commemoration of the awarding of the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine to Santiago Ramón y Cajal (one of its Fellows) in 1906, has made public his welcome speech to the Academy. It was delivered the 5 December 1897, and the title was: Rational fundamentals and technical conditions of biological research.
